The Snr 2s started the season with a hard fought victory against a tenacious MSP. OBU's forwards played to the team pattern to provide good ball for the backs to use, lead by a hard running Danny Toleafoa.

OBU were able to pick up the tempo in the final 15mins applying constant pressure on a tiring MSP and closed the game out with a late try and penalty.

Prizegiving 2011

Congratulations go out to Michael Lui for being named Senior 2 Player of the Year. In a season where so many were in contention, it seemed fitting that the cup went to the team captain. Well done Lui!

Congrats also to William Corcoran for winning the cup for highest tries scored. Tied at 15 tries a piece going into the semi final, Wendall and Andrew Darny provided an interesting sideshow to the season.

Well done OBU Senr 2s on another memorable year!! C U in 2012!!

Team Trip 2011 THANKS

Special mention has to go out this year to Dan Keith from the Trinity Group including Kit, Dave and whole team at the Empire Hotel Palmerston North for putting us up for the weekend.

The Empire Hotel is definitely the best place to stay for any group in Palmy looking for a good time, a hearty breakfast and value for money accommodation!!

PALMERSTON NORTH TEAM TRIP 26-28 Augutst 2011

Another successful team trip has been and gone with the lads spreading their own brand of OBU Snr 2 humour be it through wearing lilac shirts with brown neckties, growing invisible moustaches, buffaloing a cardboard burger box, only being permitted to address the court with pants removed, preparing for an ABs test match with fierce pukanas, photos in a state of undress atop a Light Armoured Vehicle etc etc....another successful tour for the boys.
